VoipSwitch review
A provider-focused VoIP platform with advanced PBX, billing, and provisioning capabilities.

VoipSwitch is a VoIP communications platform for service providers, carriers, telecom operators, and enterprise communications deployments. It combines Class 4/5 softswitch capabilities with hosted PBX features, unified communications, SIP services, web portals, billing, routing, and branded mobile clients. Its feature set is aimed more at organizations building or operating communications services than at small teams seeking a simple business phone system. The platform can be rented as a hosted service or deployed on a provider’s own server, with web, Linux, iOS, Android, and API support.
Pricing is paid, with a listed starting price of 29.99 and no free plan. The Value plan includes Voice, Voicemail, five auto-attendants, five hunt groups, and 10 included DID numbers. Basic, Professional, and Ultimate include Voice, Voicemail, Unified Messaging, Mobile Connect, Phone Video, and Jabber Desktop. The pricing page lists a 10-line minimum for each plan. Across the platform, providers can manage subscriptions, packages, multicurrency billing, DID and virtual numbers, SIP device provisioning, call recording, and live call monitoring. Buyers should compare the plan structure closely with their deployment model and required communications features.
VoipSwitch stands out for depth in routing and provider operations. It supports multilevel auto-attendant and IVR scenarios, scheduled routing, ring groups, find-me/follow-me, conditional forwarding, voicemail-to-email, WebRTC calling, self-care portals, and Android and iOS clients. Integrations include DID providers, credit-card payment providers, third-party websites and CRM systems, SIP devices, and third-party softswitches. Service providers that need customizable PBX infrastructure, billing, number management, and branded client options should find the scope relevant. Organizations wanting a simpler, narrowly focused phone service may prefer a less provider-oriented system.
