VivaDesigner is a desktop, web-based, and server publishing application for creating books, brochures, flyers, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, business cards, resumes, and other layout documents. It is aimed at designers, publishers, companies, schools, nonprofits, printers, private users, and developers integrating publishing workflows. Support for Windows, macOS, Linux, and browser use makes it suitable for teams with varied deployment needs, while InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, Word, and Excel support helps connect existing document workflows.

The product combines core layout tools with production features such as PDF export with color management, bleeds, and layers; EPUB export; optical preflight; parent or alias pages; tables and nested tables; and barcode generation. InDesign document import is useful for teams moving established layouts into another publishing environment. AI-assisted image clipping and text translation extend the feature set, but the strongest case remains its broad publishing coverage rather than a narrow specialist workflow. Teams producing both print and digital documents can keep those outputs in one application.

Pricing spans a lifetime-free Free Edition for private and commercial use, a Free Edition Plus full-featured trial that continues as the limited Free Edition, and VIVA SaaS / IaaS at €299 per month billed annually. That paid package includes one VivaDesigner Desktop commercial license, one concurrent Web Edition user, 10 GB storage, a German data center, automatic backup, and flat-rate traffic. Additional concurrent Web Edition users cost €39 per month each, billed monthly. VivaDesigner fits teams that value platform choice, document compatibility, and versioning; buyers wanting a lower-cost paid web deployment or simpler page-layout scope should look elsewhere.
