VitaeKit is a browser-based resume and CV builder for job seekers who want ATS-oriented templates, live editing, and downloadable files. Its editor provides a real-time preview, customizable sections, drag-to-reorder editing, PDF export, and Microsoft Word (.docx) export. Users can start without an account, with drafts saved in browser local storage; an account adds optional cloud synchronization across devices. The free offering makes it suitable for straightforward resume creation, particularly when DOCX output matters.
Pricing is structured around a free plan and two one-time passes. The Free plan includes resume building and editing, the Classic template, and PDF and Word export, but downloads are watermarked. The $5 Single Template Pass adds one template, 30-day access, and watermark-free downloads, with no auto-renewal. The $10 All Templates Pass unlocks all templates for 30 days and also removes download watermarks without auto-renewal. This approach suits applicants who need a polished file for a specific application period rather than an ongoing subscription.
The strongest feature depth is in ATS-focused preparation: the scanner checks keywords and formatting, while the job-description keyword extractor helps identify terms to consider in a resume. Local saving and optional cloud sync offer two storage approaches, but the product remains focused on resume creation in a web browser. It does not provide AI-assisted writing, a cover-letter builder, or a dedicated mobile app. Choose VitaeKit for low-cost ATS editing and DOCX export; choose another builder if you need a broader application workflow or mobile-first access.
