VideoSolo Screen Recorder is desktop software for Windows and macOS that captures full screens, selected areas, application windows, webcams, system audio, and microphone input. It is suited to online meetings, tutorials, lessons, gameplay, streaming video, and personal recording tasks. Dedicated video, audio, webcam, game, and phone-recording modes give it broader capture coverage than a basic screen recorder, while simultaneous webcam and screen recording supports presenter-led content.
Capture depth is the product’s main strength. Gameplay recording supports up to 4K and 60 fps, and iOS and Android screen mirroring enables phone recording from a desktop workflow. Scheduled recording and automatic stop help with unattended sessions, while window locking and exclusion provide control over what appears in a recording. Real-time annotations, mouse effects, and keystroke callouts are useful for tutorials and lessons. Screenshots include a built-in editor, and recordings can be trimmed, compressed, merged, and converted.
The published plans show a paid-only model. The 1-Month Plan costs $14.95 per device per month and includes lifetime upgrades and free technical support. The 1-Year Plan costs $49.95 per device per year, with auto-renewal that can be canceled at any time, plus free technical support. A Lifetime License costs $59.95 one time per device, while the $65.94 bundled lifetime license adds Video Converter Ultimate. VideoSolo is a strong fit for desktop users who need high-quality gameplay or device capture and built-in presentation tools. Users seeking a free plan or a broader platform range should look elsewhere.
