Vevox is a browser-based audience response platform for educators, trainers, meeting hosts and event organizers. It brings live polling, anonymous Q&A, quizzes, surveys, word clouds and analytics into presentations, classes, meetings and events. Presenters can run sessions through the Vevox web dashboard or connect engagement to PowerPoint, Google Slides, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and learning-management systems. Participants join with a session ID or QR code and do not need a separate account, while the platform supports web, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android access for presenters and organizers.
The plan structure separates core participation from advanced control and scale. The Free plan supports up to 100 participants and includes basic multiple-choice polling, quizzing, Q&A, AI question creation, and Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint integrations. Education Starter and Business Starter support up to 250 participants and add additional polling types, surveys, data exports, live chat and online support. Education Pro and Business Pro raise the limit to 1,500 participants. They also add broader polling options, branding and customization, and higher-level Q&A capabilities; Education Pro includes simultaneous sessions, while Business Pro includes speed-scored quizzes. The published plans therefore give buyers a clear path from basic interaction to larger, more managed sessions.
Its strongest fit is cross-platform engagement. Vevox supports presentation tools, video meeting platforms and education systems including Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace and Moodle. Q&A moderation, labelling and sorting help organizers manage audience questions, while analytics and reporting support review after a session. AI question and quiz generation adds content support, but buyers seeking advanced features need to select a paid tier, and plan capabilities differ between education and business offerings. Vevox suits organizations that need polling, Q&A and quizzes across varied presentation or learning environments. It is less suitable for teams that require a native participant app, since participants use the Vevox web application in a browser.
