Ventuz review
A Windows-focused real-time graphics platform for broadcast and live production.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Ventuz is a Windows-based real-time graphics platform for broadcast, live events, professional AV and digital visualization. It combines 3D design, animation, logic and compositing in Designer, while Director handles live playout and Runtime renders projects. The platform suits mid-market and enterprise teams creating interactive 2D/3D scenes, motion graphics, data visualizations and multi-display presentations rather than general-purpose animation work.
Pricing spans a watermarked Community edition and paid Core and Enterprise tiers. Community includes Designer, Director and Runtime, supports up to 500 primary nodes and up to 4K resolution, and has an indefinite license. Core Studio costs €100 per month or €1,200 per year, adding unlimited nodes, the Pro feature set, online licensing and dual 4K resolution. Extra Core Runtime costs €50 per month or €600 per year with the same core capabilities. Enterprise Studio adds unlimited resolution, the full feature set, multi-machine clustering, and expandable professional video and camera tracking. Extra Enterprise Runtime supports up to 4 independent render pipes, multi-machine clustering and unlimited resolution. Enterprise pricing is by request, and prices shown for Germany exclude 19% legal VAT.
Its strongest fit is production environments that need real-time control, node workflows, animation state machines, live data, audio analysis, protocol-based input and broadcast graphics. Integrations include Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Adobe Substance, Adobe Photoshop, Notch and Vertex, while export formats include MOV, AVI, MXF, MP4, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, TGA, EXR, WebP, glTF, GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL and SVG. Multi-display, multi-output and cluster rendering extend its reach for complex installations. Choose Ventuz for Windows-based broadcast and live graphics pipelines; teams seeking cloud collaboration or a broader cross-platform animation tool should choose an alternative.
