Unthread is an AI-native helpdesk for IT, HR, customer support, employee support, and RevOps teams. It turns requests from Slack, Microsoft Teams, email, and customer portals into trackable tickets. Its self-service layer includes branded hosted portals with custom domains, embedded portals, documentation search, AI-generated answers, conversational ticket creation, contextual escalation, conditional forms, and service catalog request types. Teams that center service operations in Slack or Teams will find the product particularly relevant.
Pricing is organized into three plans. Basic costs $50 per user per month with annual billing and includes conversation tracking, SLAs and assignments, Slack Inbox, Slack Broadcasts, basic integrations and API access, and a dedicated Slack support channel. Pro costs $75 per user per month with annual billing and adds a customer portal, knowledgebase sync, custom analytics dashboards, NPS and CSAT surveys, CRM integrations, and custom status workflows. Enterprise adds an AI automation builder, self-learning documentation, custom integrations, single sign-on, HIPAA and BAAs, and dedicated hosting. All plans include a 14-day free trial, while Basic and Pro require at least five seats.
The platform’s ecosystem fit is a central strength. Native integrations include Jira, Linear, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Intercom, PagerDuty, Notion, SharePoint, GitHub, ClickUp, Asana, and Confluence, alongside Slack and Microsoft Teams. Workflow automations can use built-in actions, integrations, and custom code, with API and webhook connectivity for broader systems. Authentication options include SSO, magic links, and domain restrictions. Choose Unthread when service intake, knowledge access, and ticket workflows need to live across collaboration tools and portals. Consider an alternative if a free plan or a lower-cost starting point is essential.
