Unipark is Tivian’s academic survey program for students, universities, public research institutions, and nonprofit organizations. It is designed for scientific and non-commercial research, combining browser-based questionnaire creation with fieldwork, respondent management, analysis, reporting, and data export. Multilingual questionnaires, more than 35 question types, routing, filters, triggers, loops, randomization, reminders, and plausibility checks support studies that need more than basic forms. The product is available through student, department, institute, and campus licensing, making it a fit for both individual academic projects and institution-wide programs.
Its main strength is the depth of its research workflow. Unipark covers questionnaire logic, automated testing, respondent management, panel management, sampling, recruitment, incentives, participant databases, and statistical analysis in one product description. Exports include SPSS, Excel, CSV, and other formats, while CRM and ERP APIs support connections to institutional systems. The paid plans expand by project and account capacity: Student includes one project, 2,000 interviews per project, one user account, and no question limit; Department supports up to 25 projects and unlimited user accounts; Institute supports up to 100 projects and unlimited user accounts; Campus provides a university-wide license with sales contact for pricing.
The trade-off is that Unipark is specialized rather than a general-purpose, low-commitment survey tool. There is no permanent free plan, and the two-week test license is time-limited. The published pricing information shows a paid model with a starting price of 29.95 EUR, while license durations are listed as 3, 6, and 12 months. Student pricing includes VAT, whereas department and institute pricing excludes VAT. Choose Unipark when research controls, analysis, panels, and institutional integration matter; choose an alternative if you need broader platform coverage or a permanent free tier.
