Unacademy review
A strong fit for learners who want live exam preparation, practice, and mentorship.

Unacademy is an online course marketplace focused primarily on exam preparation in India. It serves learners preparing for competitive examinations, school education, and selected professional or technical programs. Courses combine live and recorded classes with structured batches, practice questions, mock tests, quizzes, PDFs, doubt-solving sessions, and educator-led learning across web, iOS, and Android. Free learning is available, while paid subscriptions add broader access and study support.
Pricing is organized around three monthly options. The Free plan provides a free learning option. Plus costs INR 1,018 per month and adds interactive live classes, structured courses and PDFs, live doubt solving, and a study planner. Iconic costs INR 1,366 per month and includes those Plus features along with a personal mentor. Prices vary by exam goal, so the published plan structure is most useful as a starting point rather than a single universal subscription price. Learners should choose Plus for live instruction and planning, or Iconic when one-on-one mentorship is central to their preparation.
Its main strength is the combination of live teaching and ongoing practice. Learners can submit doubts with question screenshots or photos, review recorded classes, access PDF lecture notes, and use downloadable class recordings in the mobile app. Mock tests, quizzes, and performance statistics add structure beyond video lessons. The breadth of exam and education content may suit learners who want multiple study formats in one service, but those seeking a narrowly focused course provider may prefer a more specialized option. Unacademy is best suited to learners who value live classes, structured batches, and mentorship; it is less suitable for anyone looking specifically for universal certificate coverage or a purely self-paced experience.
