UltraMixer is desktop DJ software for mobile DJs, private parties, events and dancing schools. It runs on Windows and macOS, with two- and four-player mixing, waveform displays, cue-point mixing, playlists, music-library management, Auto DJ, audio sampling, effects and MP3 mix recording. Its Pro Entertain edition is aimed at performers who also need video, karaoke, slideshows, visual effects, live cameras, streaming and broadcasting.
The paid lineup is organized around Home, Basic and Pro Entertain editions, with published pricing beginning at 49.95 EUR. Home covers two-player mixing, FileArchive library management with ID3 tags and BPM values, Auto DJ, crossfader and equalizer controls, 16 audio samples and music-mix recording. Basic adds two- and four-player operation, intelligent groups, 32 audio samples and multiple sound-card support. Pro Entertain includes the Basic features plus video sampling, music videos, slideshows, visual effects, streaming, broadcasting, MIDI-controller support and network cameras. A free downloadable trial is also available.
UltraMixer fits event-focused workflows particularly well because it combines audio playback with video and karaoke mixing, lighting-control integration through MADRIX, playlist imports from iTunes, Apple Music and M3U files, and smartphone control through the UltraMixer Remote App. MIDI controllers and multiple sound cards broaden its performance setup options. It is less suitable for DJs who require stems or DVS, since those are not supplied, or for buyers seeking a free edition. Anyone choosing the macOS version should review the current system requirements before purchase.
