TwistedWave review
A flexible audio editor for fast waveform work, but not full multitrack production.

TwistedWave is an audio editor for recording, editing, mastering, conversion, and batch processing. It suits voice-over producers, podcasters, audiobook creators, and other audio professionals who need waveform-focused work across devices. The product runs in a web browser, on macOS and Windows, and through an iPhone and iPad app. Its feature set covers multichannel editing, recording, metadata editing, silence detection, and format conversion, with additional tools for noise reduction, time-stretching, pitch-shifting, and pitch correction.
Pricing is straightforward for the desktop subscription. The Monthly plan costs $9.99 per month and includes desktop access for Mac and Windows. The Yearly plan costs $99.90 for the first year, with annual billing and lower pricing in subsequent subscription years. A 30-day free trial is available. TwistedWave also connects with FTP, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, and Google Drive, giving users several options for moving audio between storage services and editing environments.
The product’s strongest distinction is the breadth of focused audio tools rather than a full studio workflow. Audio Unit and VST plugin support extends its processing options, while video synchronization and speech recognition with script synchronization support production tasks beyond basic cutting. AI features are also listed. However, TwistedWave does not provide multitrack editing, which limits its fit for arrangements that depend on multiple independent tracks, layered music production, or complex session mixing. Choose it for fast, platform-spanning waveform editing and specialized processing; choose a multitrack-focused application for full production sessions.
