TUIO is a web-based tuition and school-management platform for schools, childcare centers, and other educational organizations. It brings together billing, payment plans, recurring billing schedules, automated collections, enrollment contracts, registration forms, student records, attendance, fundraising, and parent communications. Families receive a payment portal for viewing invoices, managing payment methods, making payments, and accessing receipts. It is suited to organizations that want tuition and related administrative workflows in one system, particularly those balancing broad coverage with budget considerations.
The pricing structure starts with a free Starter plan. Starter includes billing and payments, enrollment contracts and registration forms, donations and fundraising, parent communications, and unlimited human support. The Professional plan costs $500 per location per year, billed annually. It includes all Starter features, then adds GL accounts and custom exports, attendance and class management, SIS forms, roles and permissions, and tax receipts. Transaction fees are separate; schools may absorb them or pass them to families. Canadian schools are billed in CAD, while US schools are billed in USD.
TUIO’s strongest fit is an organization that needs collection workflows as well as school administration features: automated invoices, payment reminders, autopay, custom payment plans, and real-time payment reconciliation are paired with enrollment and attendance tools. QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop reconciliation is available through SaasAnt, but the platform is web-only and its integration scope is narrow. Choose TUIO when a free starting point, payment operations, and broad school workflows matter more than a wide ecosystem. Organizations needing native connections beyond QuickBooks or a non-web platform should consider alternatives.
