TST Prep is a web-based language-test preparation platform for students preparing for the TOEFL iBT or Duolingo English Test. Its coverage includes teacher-created courses, interactive practice questions, mock tests, study plans, downloadable PDFs and e-books, speaking and writing feedback, private lessons, group classes, and AI-assisted feedback for DET preparation. Free accounts provide TOEFL practice materials, while paid products add more structured courses, evaluations, lessons, and practice resources. It is best suited to TOEFL learners who want multiple study formats, including teacher support and live class options.
The pricing structure is unusually broad for a prep product. Paid offerings start at $27, while listed TOEFL options include the $37 TOEFL Emergency Course, the $197 TOEFL Score Builder Program, private-lesson packages at $397, $597, and $897, and reading, writing, or speaking group classes at $247 each. The Score Builder Program includes 20 complete practice tests, 120+ hours of practice, and 1,000+ activities. Private packages add six, 10, or 18 online lessons, with speaking or writing feedback and practice tests. Most TOEFL products are one-time purchases with one-year access rather than subscriptions.
TST Prep’s strongest differentiator is the combination of independent practice and instructor-led support. Learners can choose downloadable materials and mock tests, focused group classes, or private online lessons, while DET preparation adds AI writing and speaking feedback. Email support is included across the listed paid plans, and the site states a 7-day money-back guarantee for courses. The trade-off is flexibility: access is web-only, and DET products use one-month or six-month access periods. Choose TST Prep if TOEFL preparation, teacher evaluation, or classes are priorities; learners seeking a mobile app or a single simple subscription may prefer a narrower format.
