Traktor Pro 4 review
A capable four-deck desktop setup for advanced DJs who need stems, DVS, and effects.

Traktor Pro 4 is downloadable desktop DJ software for DJs mixing with controllers, turntables, CDJs, or club-standard mixers. It is aimed at advanced performers who need four-deck control, stem separation, DVS timecode vinyl support, flexible beatgrids, looping, beatjumps, hotcues, and Remix Decks. The software runs on Windows and macOS and supports customizable layouts for computer-based mixing.
The $149 one-time price covers the Traktor Pro 4 plan. Its feature set includes stem separation for drums, bass, instruments, and vocals, along with 40+ deck and mixer effects. Pattern Player and Ozone Maximizer add further performance and output tools, while loops, beatjumps, hotcues, and Remix Decks support more involved live arrangements. A 30-minute free test is available, but there is no free plan.
Traktor Pro 4 fits DJs who want a desktop-centered system with multiple ways to connect hardware and music services. MIDI mapping supports customized control, and Ableton Link synchronization works with Ableton Live and compatible setups. Beatport Streaming and Beatsource Streaming are also supported. The main constraint is platform coverage: the published support is limited to Windows and macOS. DJs seeking four-deck performance, DVS, stems, and detailed control should find the feature mix relevant; those wanting a simpler setup or broader operating-system coverage should consider an alternative.
