toujou review
A hosted TYPO3 builder with extensive page elements, multisite tools and service hosting.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
toujou is a hosted website builder based on TYPO3, designed for businesses and agencies creating professional websites. It combines theme-based design with customizable colors, fonts and logos, and lets editors build pages from more than 150 content elements without programming. Multilingual and multisite management make it a fit for organizations maintaining related sites across languages; smaller projects needing only a basic single-language site may not need that breadth.
Its central distinction is managed TYPO3 service hosting: the published feature set includes updates and upgrades, alongside website building. The plans are toujou DEMO, toujou and toujou TOURISM. The DEMO includes the system and first-level support for a seven-day test period; it is not an ongoing free plan. The standard toujou plan includes the system and service hosting, while TOURISM adds tourism features as well as hosting. Optional help with publishing, design customization and development is also offered. Choose among these editions based on whether a temporary evaluation, general hosted site or tourism-focused feature set fits the project.
The builder also covers blogging with authors, comments and categories, customizable contact, registration and product-demand forms, and SEO tools including Yoast SEO. Integrations include Keycloak, Solr, Usercentrics and Mautic, while support channels include tickets, phone and documentation. Cloud deployment and GDPR compliance are listed. This combination suits teams seeking a hosted TYPO3 environment with content-management breadth and operational support. A project looking for an ongoing free tier or a narrowly focused, simple site builder may be better served by another option.
