Topaz Image Web review
A web workflow for AI upscaling, restoration, and batch image processing.

Topaz Image Web is a browser-based image enhancement service from Topaz Labs for photographers, creative teams, and other users who need to enlarge or restore images without a desktop application. Its web workflow handles standard and creative AI upscaling, sharpening, unblurring, denoising, photo restoration, face enhancement, background removal, colorization, and relighting. It accepts PNG, JPEG, JFIF, WEBP, TIF, and HEIC files, and supports both individual images and batches.
Its strongest advantage is breadth within an image-processing workflow. Users can compare before-and-after results, process multiple images, and download individual files or complete batches. Cloud rendering and file management keep the work in the browser, while the published category specifications show scaling up to 8x and API access. That combination suits restoration and recurring batch work better than a narrowly focused enlarger. Face recovery and enhancement add value for portraits, while denoising, sharpening, and unblurring cover common quality problems before or alongside upscaling.
Pricing starts with the Image plan at $19 per month or $199 per year. The Pro plan costs $59 per month or $599 per year. There is no free plan, and processing requires a subscription. The Image tier is the more accessible entry point for regular web-based enhancement, while Pro is aimed at users who need a higher-tier workflow. Choose Topaz Image Web if browser access, batch processing, restoration tools, and cloud rendering matter more than local desktop software. Users seeking a free option, a desktop app, or only occasional basic enlargement may prefer a simpler alternative.
