A focused browser editor for pixel-art sprites, tilemaps and frame animation.

Tiny Pixel Editor is a browser-based tool for creating pixel art, game sprites, tiles and animations. Its pixel-art drawing tools include pencil, eraser, fill, gradient, shapes, spray, blur, smudge and custom brushes. The product is aimed at people learning pixel art, experimenting, or preparing game artwork, with a fit for solo creators and small teams. It runs locally in the browser, requires no account or installation, and stores artwork on the user's device.
The feature set centers on sprite and animation workflows. Projects can have up to 32 layers, with blend modes, opacity controls and locks. Frame animation supports up to 256 frames, per-frame timing, loop tags, onion skin and playback; tilemap layers use editable tilesets. Palette import and export and indexed-colour editing up to 256 colours support controlled palettes. The editor imports common image files, sprite sheets and image sequences, and exports still images, GIF or APNG animations, sprite sheets with JSON, or ZIP files of frames. Editable projects use the .pxl format, and autosave runs in the browser.
The vendor describes Tiny Pixel Editor as free to use, and the editor is currently in live alpha. That status matters for anyone depending on a mature production workflow; the listed support channel is documentation. The narrow pixel-art focus is useful when sprites, tilemaps and frame-based animation are the goal, but it is a poor fit for general illustration needs. Choose it for a free, browser-based pixel-art workflow and its focused export options; consider another tool if you need a broader drawing environment or prefer a product outside live alpha.
