TimeLapsed 2.0 is a mobile timelapse camera for iPhone and iPad from Shutter Speed Apps, LLC. It is aimed at solo and small-team creators who want control over exposure, focus, capture timing and finishing without switching between several mobile tools. Manual shutter, ISO, focus, white balance, exposure compensation and zoom controls support deliberate shooting, while configurable intervals, playback speed and frame counts shape the sequence. Reusable camera profiles help keep recurring setups consistent.
Its standout depth is programmable capture and live processing. Timed Camera Actions support ramps, sets and events, and live frame blending can create trails, glow, masks and comet effects while recording. The app also imports image sequences from Photos or Files and includes an editor for speed, framing, color, titles and audio. Sky Planner, Dark Hours and dark-sky maps extend the workflow for astronomy-oriented shoots. Remote control works from another iPhone or iPad and with compatible Canon Camera Control API cameras; Apple Watch, external displays, USB-C microphones and external storage broaden the iOS setup.
The free tier includes the core camera, built-in profiles and watermarked 1080p exports. TimeLapsed Pro adds advanced workflows and clean exports, while TimeLapsed Pro Lifetime provides a lifetime Pro unlock. Production Display costs $399 per year and includes Pro features, commercial live-output rights, Show Mode, blackout and freeze controls, plus a custom logo. Pick TimeLapsed 2.0 if you are committed to iPhone or iPad capture and value programmable actions, effects and field planning. Choose another tool if you need Android support, desktop deployment or support beyond documentation.
