ThreeMesh review
A focused free browser modeler for precise solids, scenes, and practical file exchange.

ThreeMesh is a free, browser-based 3D modeling application from Digital Nature. It is aimed at architecture, interiors, woodworking, furniture, 3D printing, education, and rapid spatial design. The workflow centers on direct solid modeling, including drawing and push/pull operations, with inference snapping, axis locks, measurement input, groups, reusable components, scenes, section planes, and a model outliner. Models are stored locally in the browser through IndexedDB autosave, with no required account or installation.
Its strongest fit is practical geometry work that benefits from precision without a desktop installation. Boolean union, subtraction, trim, and intersection operations support solid-modeling workflows, while saved scene views and section planes help organize and inspect designs. The built-in render engine, browser access, and local persistence keep the product focused for quick spatial studies, classroom work, furniture concepts, and 3D-printing preparation. The free pricing model also keeps the full modeling and export workflow straightforward, with no paid tier for those tools.
File exchange is a notable part of the product's scope. ThreeMesh can import STL, OBJ, FBX, glTF, and SVG geometry, then export STL, OBJ, GLB, JSON, PNG, and SVG. That range supports movement between modeling, visualization, documentation, and fabrication workflows. The trade-off is a deliberately narrow feature set: there is no sculpting, animation, parametric modeling, or external integration. Choose ThreeMesh for simple, precise browser-based solid modeling and flexible file export; choose an alternative when character work, animated scenes, parametric design, or connected software workflows are central requirements.
