ThingLink review
A strong choice for immersive, branching lessons, with paid plans and no SCORM export.

ThingLink is a cloud-based immersive content creation and learning platform for educators, trainers, businesses, and public-sector organizations. It supports interactive lessons built from images, video, 360-degree media, 3D models, and augmented- or virtual-reality content. Scenario Builder adds questions, scoring, branching paths, timers, milestones, and completion criteria, while content can be delivered through the web, mobile apps, LMS connections, and supported AR or VR devices. It fits classroom learning, workforce training, virtual tours, simulations, onboarding, and customer education, particularly when standard page-based lessons are too limited.
Pricing is paid rather than freemium. The Teacher License starts at $9 per user per month when billed annually and supports interactive images, videos, and 360-degree images in LMS or classroom environments. Create Starter provides multimedia authoring with one author seat per license, while Create XR adds publishing across devices and VR for an individual creator. Team adds up to five creators, Multimedia Editor, Scenario Builder, and performance analytics. Business adds unlimited creator seats, LMS integration, learner analytics, cohort reporting, API access, and data exports. Enterprise adds white-label apps, resell rights, private cloud and on-premises options, and custom learner seats.
Its strongest fit is immersive, self-paced learning with measurable learner activity. Analytics cover progress, performance, paths, and time, and integrations include Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Schoology, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Microsoft and Google productivity tools, Canva, and LTI 1.3. AI-assisted content creation and translation extend the authoring workflow. However, ThingLink is not a traditional LMS, and SCORM export is not supported. Choose it for interactive media, branching scenarios, and AR/VR delivery; choose an alternative when SCORM packaging or a full LMS is central to the requirement.
