The Print Shop is desktop publishing software for home users, home offices, entrepreneurs, and small businesses creating printed materials. Its tools cover greeting cards, brochures, newsletters, calendars, labels, business cards, posters, and other page-based projects. Users can combine ready-made templates and clip art with text editing, photo editing, page layout, master pages, mail merge, and address-book tools. The software supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 through Print Shop Classic 23.1, Deluxe 8, and Professional 8 editions.

Pricing is one-time rather than subscription-based. Print Shop Classic 23.1 costs $69.99 and includes 15,000+ templates, Windows 10 and Windows 11 support, and high-quality PDF printing. Print Shop Deluxe 8 also costs $69.99 and adds ready-made templates and clip art, PDF output, master pages, and project sharing through email. Print Shop Professional 8 costs $99.99 and adds PSD image import, tables, custom-shape import, and the ability to import pages and elements from other projects. This makes Deluxe suitable for general projects, while Professional is the more capable choice for users who reuse assets across designs.

For print production, The Print Shop includes printer and paper-size controls, duplex support, print wizards, PDF export with font embedding, and output up to 600 dpi. Project sharing is available through email, a website, or Facebook, but collaboration is not a core capability. The Windows-only design also limits platform flexibility. Choose The Print Shop if you want a dedicated desktop tool for home, office, or small-business print projects with templates and straightforward layout features. Consider an alternative if you need broader platform support, live collaboration, or more advanced prepress workflows.
