Textures.com is a web-based library of digital material content for 2D and 3D computer graphics. It serves game development, visual effects, graphic design, animation, movies, printed media and architectural visualization. The catalog spans material photographs, PBR and procedural materials, 3D scans, 3D objects, foliage, ornaments, brushes, HDR panoramas and skydomes. A free account provides access to samples, while paid access uses monthly Premium Credits.
The published plans show several usage levels. Starter includes 1,000 credits per month, with selected highlights including a commercial license, free redownloads, high-resolution images, procedural materials and 3D objects. Pro raises the allowance to 5,000 credits per month and lists the same selected content and licensing benefits. Studio provides 3,000 credits per month along with studio locations, sub-account support, source and raw 3D data, and priority support. Studio+ raises the allowance to 6,000 credits per month while retaining those team-oriented features. The category listing also shows a starting price of 13, and the vendor describes monthly prices and annual discounts.
Its main strength is breadth within material-focused production: users can move from digital photos and textures to procedural files, 3D assets and HDR environments in one library. Supported formats include JPG, PNG 16-bit, TIFF, OpenEXR, OBJ, ZBP, ZTL and SBSAR. Free redownloads for previously purchased files can help when an asset needs to be retrieved again. The service is less suited to teams requiring an API or a broader software platform, since access is web-only and API access is not listed. Choose Textures.com when texture variety, material formats and downloadable 3D content are central to the workflow; consider another option when programmatic access is essential.
