Teamly is remote project management software for distributed teams that need task coordination alongside employee oversight. It combines workflow and task management with board, task-list, and timeline views, configurable automations, team chat, file attachments, time tracking, activity screenshots, and employee monitoring. Teams can assign tasks, set priorities and due dates, review project costs, and produce payroll-related time reports across web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

Teamly follows a freemium model with a Free plan and a 14-day free trial. The Business plan is listed at $27 per month with monthly billing or $17 per month with annual billing, covering 5 users, 5 workflows, 1,000 automation uses per month, and built-in time tracking. Business+ Level 1 costs $47 per month monthly or $37 per month annually and adds capacity for 15 users, unlimited workflows, and unlimited automation uses per month, while retaining built-in time tracking. The published plans use flat monthly prices rather than per-user prices.

The product’s strongest fit is for teams that want project work and workforce monitoring in the same system. Its combination of screenshots, time tracking, project cost dashboards, and payroll reporting goes beyond a narrow task board, while chat and file sharing support day-to-day coordination. The trade-off is a narrower ecosystem fit than project tools centered on integrations, and monitoring may be excessive for teams that only need collaborative planning. Teamly’s website also says it is closed to new users, so it is better suited to evaluating the feature model than to teams seeking an immediately available project management platform.

Teamly pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Board, list, and timeline views support different planning styles.
    • Workflow automations, chat, and task management share one platform.
    • Time tracking, screenshots, cost dashboards, and payroll reporting add oversight.
  • Where it doesn't
    • The website says Teamly is closed to new users.
    • Its ecosystem fit is narrower without listed integrations.
    • Monitoring features may not suit teams seeking a lighter project tool.
