Tap a Table is a restaurant reservation and guest-experience platform from Aptionix for independent restaurants, hospitality businesses and restaurant groups in the UK. It brings online reservations, booking visibility, digital waitlists, guest profiles, reminders, floor plans, deposits, reporting and event bookings into one system. Booking can come through a restaurant website, Google and social channels, while guests can be managed through visit history, confirmations and marketing tools. The platform is web- and API-based and was founded in 2024.

Pricing is organized into three plans. Starter costs £49 per month and includes unlimited online reservations, website, Google and social booking, SMS and email reminders, basic guest profiles and a digital waitlist. Growth costs £99 per month and adds visual drag-and-drop table management, full guest CRM, marketing automation, AI voice reservations, no-show scoring and branded NFC and QR tap-to-book cards. Multi-site adds cross-site reporting, role-based access, a dedicated account manager, an open API, POS integrations, custom onboarding and training. Starter and Growth include a 14-day free trial, and prices are listed in GBP excluding VAT.

Its strongest fit is a small venue that wants more than a basic booking widget: the feature set reaches from reservations and floor plans to deposits, card-on-file payments, reporting and guest operations. Integrations include Google Reserve, Lightspeed POS, Toast EPOS, Stripe, Instagram and Tevalis POS. Multi-location management is available on the Multi-site plan, while the category details specify one included location. Choose Tap a Table if AI-assisted reservations, waitlists and guest management matter together. It is less suitable for teams seeking native mobile or desktop coverage, or a longer-established product with broader operating history.
