Talvo review
A Turkish-focused Mac app, so it does not suit Hindi learners.

Talvo is a macOS language-learning app for people studying Turkish from beginner A1 through advanced C1. Its lessons adapt to learners’ interests, while an AI tutor guides spoken role-play, listens to responses, and explains corrections. A live interpreter provides translations and suggested replies for conversations with Turkish speakers. Vocabulary review uses spaced repetition, and six AI-graded exercise types include listening and speaking. A placement test helps establish a starting point. For Hindi learners, however, Talvo’s Turkish curriculum does not address the category’s core need.
The published plans show a freemium structure. The Free plan costs USD 0 one time and includes one full lesson, three live-interpreter exchanges, unlimited reviews and deck access, and a placement test. A seven-day free trial is also provided. Pro Yearly costs USD 69.99 per year and adds unlimited lessons, conversations, translations, and live-interpreter use, plus every language with a full course to C1, weak-spot drills, and natural voices. Pro Monthly is USD 12.99 per month, while Pro Weekly is USD 5.99 per week; both include everything in Pro and can be canceled at any time.
Talvo’s strongest fit is an individual learner who wants structured Turkish speaking and listening practice on a Mac, with review materials available offline. The desktop deployment and email support keep the product oriented toward solo use rather than teams or mobile-first study. The vendor says an iPhone version is coming soon, but the current product is described as a Mac app. Hindi learners should choose an app whose lessons and speech practice center on Hindi instead. Turkish learners who need a focused desktop tutor, interpreter, and progression through C1 may find Talvo’s feature set aligned with that goal.
