Tachimanga is a manga reader for iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Mac, aimed at readers who keep collections on their devices or use supported manga sources. It combines library browsing and organization with chapter downloads, reading progress tracking, and synchronization across devices. The App Store lists the app as free with optional in-app purchases, making it a fit for Apple users who want local reading alongside manga tracking and sync.
Its format support covers image folders, ZIP and CBZ, RAR and CBR, and EPUB chapters; RAR5 is not supported. Readers can also access manga from Komga. For tracking, the listed integrations include MyAnimeList, AniList, Bangumi, MangaUpdates, and MangaBaka, while Komga, Kavita, and Suwayomi are also listed as integrations. Batch chapter selection can help when downloading multiple chapters, and sync covers the library, reading history, and bookmarks. This breadth makes Tachimanga more suitable for readers managing a collection than for someone seeking only a simple file viewer.
The free app has three Premium options: Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime. The published plan details identify subscriptions for the monthly and yearly options and lifetime premium access for Lifetime; they do not establish what specific features each paid option adds. Tachimanga is a sensible choice for Apple-device readers who value local formats, supported server content, tracking, and continuity across devices. Readers who need RAR5 support or use platforms beyond iPhone, iPad, and macOS should consider another reader. Support channels listed for the product are email and documentation.
