Taalrijk review
A free, ad-free iOS path through Dutch A1-B2 with offline practice.

Taalrijk is a free iOS app for learners building Dutch skills from A1 through B2. It combines graded reading and listening stories with everyday conversation dialogues, repeat-after-me practice, speaking exercises, writing prompts, comprehension questions, vocabulary work, progress tracking and streaks. The scope suits independent learners who want a structured path across several language skills rather than a narrow flashcard tool.
The Free plan includes Dutch lessons and exercises, offline access and no ads. Content can be downloaded for study without a connection, while pronunciation feedback supports spoken practice. The separate Taalrijk Flashcards app adds spaced-repetition review and Dutch de/het article practice. Together, these features give learners repeated exposure to vocabulary, grammar context, listening and production without introducing a paid tier structure.
Taalrijk’s main platform fit is also its clearest constraint: delivery is limited to iOS mobile devices. Learners who switch between Android, web or desktop environments will need another app for cross-platform access. Support is offered by email, which is straightforward for solo learners but may be less suitable for organizations seeking dedicated training workflows. Choose Taalrijk if you want free, ad-free Dutch study with CEFR progression and offline use on an iPhone or iPad; choose an alternative if broader device coverage or team-oriented administration is essential.
