Telekom Mail, also known as T-Online Mail, is a personal email service for consumers in Germany. It suits people who want a free @t-online.de or @magenta.de address, access through a browser or mobile app, and the option to connect standard email software. The service includes spam and virus filtering, aliases, and rules for incoming mail. German data-center storage is another point of fit for users seeking an email provider based in Germany.
The free Freemail plan includes 1 GB of mailbox storage, up to 10 email addresses, and spam protection. Mail S lists the same storage, address allowance, and spam protection. Mail M expands storage to 15 GB and includes 1 GB of monthly expandable storage, up to 50 email addresses, an ad-free Email Center, and configurable spam protection. Across the service, attachments can be up to 32 MB; optional link attachments can be up to 500 MB. These plans make the free option suitable for light personal email, while Mail M better fits people who need more room, aliases, or an ad-free interface.
Access is available on the web and through official iOS and Android apps. For desktop use, IMAP and POP3 support works with standard email software, including Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Apple Mail. That protocol support gives users flexibility to keep their preferred mail client, alongside Telekom's browser-based Email Center. Choose Telekom Mail if German data-center storage, mobile access, aliases, and standard client compatibility matter. Consider another service if you need more than 15 GB of listed mailbox storage or larger direct attachments; the provided attachment options are 32 MB directly or up to 500 MB by link.
