SYQEL is a real-time audio-reactive visualizer platform for VJs, DJs, venues, streamers and music listeners. Its product family includes SYQEL Desktop for customizable visuals, AI-generated shaders, playlists, branding, MIDI controls and broadcast outputs; SYQEL Live for automated live performance visuals; and SYQEL Art for reactive experiences across browsers, desktop, mobile and TV devices. The platform can analyze musical elements such as kick, bass and hats to drive visuals, making it suited to live performances and music-led visual experiences rather than general-purpose video editing.

Pricing spans a free tier and several paid options. Free includes every visual, world, feed and playlist, plus NDI, Spout, broadcast, MIDI and marquee features, with two AI visuals to try and a SYQEL watermark. Pro costs $35 per month or $300 per year and provides 10 AI visuals a month, no SYQEL logo, and access to Desktop, Live and Art. Deluxe costs $60 per month or $600 per year for 20 AI visuals a month, while Elite costs $150 per month or $1,500 per year for 50. SYQEL Gig costs $20 one time and includes full Pro features for commercial and live-event use.

The strongest fit is a performer or production team that needs broad output routing and control across tools such as OBS, Resolume, Streamlabs, VDMX, MadMapper and TouchDesigner. MIDI control, custom playlists, logo overlays, per-instrument reactivity and offline operation add useful flexibility for live workflows. The trade-offs are the Free plan’s watermark, the monthly limits on AI visuals, and the listed 1080p maximum resolution. Choose SYQEL for reactive performance visuals with multiple routing paths; choose an alternative if higher listed resolution or unrestricted AI generation is central to the workflow.

SYQEL pros and cons

    • Real-time reactivity can respond to individual instruments and MIDI.

  • Where it doesn't
    • The Free plan places a SYQEL watermark on output.
    • AI visuals are limited by monthly allowances on paid plans.
    • Maximum listed resolution is 1080p.
