Symbaloo review
A visual, education-focused way to organize and share online resources.

Symbaloo is a web-based bookmark manager for individuals, educators, students, families, teams, and educational organizations. It organizes websites, documents, videos, and other resources as tiles within topic-based webmixes. Users can share or publish collections, import browser bookmarks, add resources through a browser extension, and use Symbaloo as a homepage or new-tab search experience. Its education focus is reinforced by Learning Paths, Webmix Library discovery, and Tilesearch.
The product’s strongest fit is visual organization and educational sharing. Embedded videos, songs, podcasts, presentations, documents, and spreadsheets let a webmix serve as more than a list of links. Learning Paths add a structured way to present educational content, while collaboration through webmixes supports shared collections. These features make Symbaloo a practical choice for classrooms, families, and teams that want curated resources presented in a tile-based format.
Platform coverage is narrower than some bookmark managers: Symbaloo supports the web and a Chrome extension, while mobile apps are not supported. The free plan provides ad-supported access. Personal Premium is listed with No Webspace, Classroom includes a Premium Webspace subscription, and Libraries, Schools & Districts uses custom pricing. Choose Symbaloo if visual boards, sharing, embedded media, and education-oriented organization matter most. Consider another tool if mobile apps, verified archiving, or broader platform coverage are priorities.
