SurFast Video Downloader is a paid desktop application for Windows and macOS, with a companion Chrome extension for context-menu downloading. It is designed for users who need to save videos, audio, thumbnails, subtitles, playlists, channels, and batches of links from more than 1,000 websites. Supported services include YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Twitch, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Udemy, and Bilibili. Its strongest fit is for paid users building repeatable media archives rather than for occasional one-off downloads.
Pricing is organized into six license plans: monthly, yearly, and lifetime options for both Windows and Mac. The published category pricing lists a starting price of 25.95. Monthly and yearly plans include auto-renewal, with free upgrades for the relevant subscription period; lifetime plans include lifetime free upgrades. Refund eligibility is 7 days for monthly subscriptions and 30 days for annual or lifetime plans. Since there is no free plan, buyers should choose it when recurring downloads, private-content archiving, or batch processing justify a paid license.
The feature set reaches beyond basic URL downloading. SurFast can download up to 8K video when available, trim clips, split videos by smart chapters, schedule downloads, and save video, audio, and subtitle files in formats including MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, MP3, WAV, FLAC, SRT, VTT, LRC, and ASS. Private-content archiving requires account access, while browser-based downloading depends on the Chrome helper. Users seeking a broad desktop archiving toolkit should find the Windows or Mac plans relevant; those wanting a free option or a simpler occasional downloader should look elsewhere.
