StorySplat Viewer is a browser-based Gaussian Splatting viewer distributed as the storysplat-viewer package. It is designed for developers, creators and organizations that need to embed interactive 3D scenes or tours on websites. Scenes can come from StorySplat or self-hosted scene data, with support for PLY, compressed PLY, SOG and SPLAT files. Orbit, fly and tour camera modes provide different ways to navigate, while waypoints, hotspots, custom meshes and particles support guided or layered experiences. The broader StorySplat platform includes a browser editor for authoring tours and publishing hosted or self-hosted projects.

The freemium structure gives smaller projects a clear starting point. The Free plan costs $0 per month and includes 1 GB of storage for public, non-commercial scenes with StorySplat branding. Plus costs $19 per month and adds commercial use, private scenes, self-hosted export and 25 GB of storage, while retaining StorySplat attribution. Business costs $90 per month and adds scene analytics, session replay, 200 GB of storage and priority support. Enterprise adds white-label branding, commercial redistribution rights and an offline editor option. These tiers make the product suitable for experiments through larger deployments, with storage, branding and commercial rights driving the upgrade path.

Its strongest fit is web publishing: the viewer runs on the web, supports cloud and self-hosted deployment, and integrates with Webflow and WordPress. UI theming and event hooks allow a site to align the viewer with surrounding content, while 4DGS volumetric-video frame playback extends it beyond static splats. Support is available through email, community and documentation. Teams needing mobile capture should choose another tool, and projects requiring unbranded output must move beyond the Free and Plus plans. StorySplat Viewer suits website owners and developers building interactive splat stories; it is less suited to workflows centered on mobile acquisition.
