StoryBoard OS is a cloud-based, web workflow for turning an uploaded script or topic into a video plan and finished cut. It is aimed at filmmakers, short-form creators, advertisers, and educators, with workflows spanning short-form, long-form, animation, and anime projects. Users can review the stages from story development through scene breakdown, character and location design, voice creation, scene generation, and assembly, while setting direction for individual scenes. Story and scene planning are available free; generated media uses credits.

Its core strength is carrying continuity across the production workflow. Stories can be broken into reorderable scenes with durations and direction; character profiles can include identity-anchored multi-view sheets, and character voices can be reused across scenes. Consistent object, product, and location sheets support the same process, while a reusable style reference is available for animation and anime projects. Generated scenes can be assembled into a cut. Caption export is limited to WebVTT and SRT, so teams needing broader delivery formats should check whether their workflow can accommodate that constraint.

The published plans distinguish usage capacity rather than price. Free includes 50 monthly credits, a 20 daily credit cap, and 200 AI text actions per day, but no image, voice, or video generation. Creator lists 1,500 monthly credits, a 200 daily cap, and 1,000 daily text actions; Studio lists 6,000 monthly credits, an 800 daily cap, and 3,000 daily text actions; Producer lists 20,000 monthly credits, a 3,000 daily cap, and 10,000 daily text actions. According to the vendor's pricing page, prices are being finalized, and billing is not live yet. The free story-planning workflow makes it worth considering for creators developing AI-generated scenes and characters; buyers who need clear paid costs before adopting a tool should wait.
