STACK is a cloud-based construction preconstruction platform for specialty contractors, general contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, owners, and developers. Its Takeoff & Estimate product combines digital plan upload, viewing, markup, annotation, quantity measurement, estimating worksheets, drawing comparison, libraries, reports, and proposal generation. Teams can work through web, Windows, iOS, and Android access, while field workflows include offline plan and document access.
The plan structure separates basic plan work from deeper estimating workflows. The Free plan includes plan viewing and markup, core takeoff tools, and in-app chat, help, and support. A 7-day free trial is also available. Premium adds unlimited projects and plan pages, unlimited measurements, the full takeoff toolset, pre-built item and assembly libraries, AI Takeoffs, and unlimited viewer seats. Pro adds worksheet-style estimating, labor and material estimates, STACK for Excel, estimate dashboards, dynamic scopes, and native proposal generation. Premium and Pro use 12-month subscription terms with annual or monthly payment options.
STACK stands out for combining measurement tools with estimating, version comparison, AI takeoffs, symbol search, STACK IQ, and construction-focused system connections. Listed integrations include Acumatica, Autodesk Vault, Procore, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, TopBuilder, and Followup CRM. ERP connectors are available as a Pro add-on, so teams should review their intended workflow before choosing a plan. STACK suits estimators who need broad takeoff integrations and connected estimating workflows. Teams seeking only simple plan viewing or markup may find the paid feature depth unnecessary.
