Spike is an email client for individuals, professionals, and teams that want email and collaboration features in one workspace. It turns traditional email threads into chat-like conversations and connects Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Hotmail, and IMAP accounts. The app is available on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, with features including unified inboxes, priority sorting, scheduled sending, AI assistance, calendars, notes, tasks, voice messages, and audio or video calls.
The published plans make the account and storage limits central to the buying decision. Free includes a Smart Inbox for one email address, 60 days of search history, 1 GB of storage, and AI features. Pro costs $6 per user per month when billed annually and adds a Unified Inbox for up to three email addresses, unlimited search history, 5 GB of storage, and priority support. Ultimate costs $12 per user per month when billed annually and adds unlimited email addresses, 20 GB of storage, and VIP support. The paid tiers are therefore most relevant to people managing multiple accounts or needing more search and storage capacity.
Spike's broader appeal comes from combining email with calendar synchronization, in-inbox calendar tools, Super Search across emails, files, and conversations, collaborative notes and tasks, and shared inboxes for teams. Google Calendar and Apple Calendar are supported alongside the listed email services. Choose Spike if conversational email, AI tools, and team workflows matter more than a conventional mail interface. Users who only need a basic single-account inbox may find the Free plan sufficient, while those needing more than three accounts must move to Ultimate.
