Spark Mail is an email client for individuals, professionals, and teams that manage multiple accounts and need more structured workflows. It brings accounts from IMAP, iCloud, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo, and Google into a unified inbox, while Smart Inbox separates priority from non-priority email. The app also includes natural-language Smart Search, scheduled sending, snooze, reminders, Set Aside, a built-in calendar, and AI features. It runs on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, with a Free plan and paid tiers.
The Free plan includes Smart Inbox, unlimited email accounts, Smart Notifications, essential email productivity features, and Calendar. Plus costs $10 per user per month when billed monthly or $8.25 per user per month when billed annually, with advanced email productivity, Spark +AI, an AI Assistant, 40 AI Meeting Notes, essential team collaboration, and custom templates. Pro costs $20 monthly or $16.58 per user per month when billed annually, adding unlimited AI Meeting Notes, Read Statuses, advanced team collaboration, HubSpot integration, and Spark CLI with triage access. Enterprise adds security and controls, a Dedicated Success Manager, and 1:1 Productivity Coaching.
Spark’s strongest fit is collaborative email work: shared inboxes and drafts, team assignments, and private comments extend the client beyond personal message management. Integrations with Reminders, Todoist, Notion, and HubSpot also support broader workflows, while the platform coverage suits teams that move between desktop and mobile devices. Offline reading is supported through cached recent emails and attachments, although offline management is limited. Teams needing shared workflows should consider Spark, while users seeking only basic email may find the paid collaboration and AI tiers unnecessary.
