SMS Client Reminders is a cloud-based appointment reminder service from Blipstar for sole traders, small businesses, and larger organizations. It connects to online calendars or accepts manually entered appointments and CSV imports, then sends automatic SMS and email reminders before scheduled events. Businesses can also manage recurring appointments, client groups, group messages, custom templates, confirmations, appointment updates, cancellation messages, and SMS replies. The service runs on the web and includes a 28-day trial with 30 free credits.
Calendar fit is one of its clearest strengths. SMS Client Reminders supports Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Outlook.com, Office 365, Apple iCloud Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, Teamup, Zoho, Teamweek, and Acuity Scheduling. Its plans scale by SMS credits and linked calendars: Starter includes 50 SMS credits and 5 linked calendars; Bronze includes 150 credits and 10 calendars; Silver includes 500 credits and 20 calendars; Gold includes 1,000 credits and 30 calendars; Platinum includes 2,500 credits and 40 calendars; Pro 5000 includes 5,000 credits and 40 calendars; Pro 10000 includes 10,000 credits and 50 calendars; and Pro 20000 includes 20,000 credits and 50 calendars. Every plan includes free email reminders and a dedicated sending phone number.
The product stays focused on appointment communication rather than deeper automation. Two-way SMS is supported, and manual reminder verification gives businesses a way to check reminders, but there is no AI feature set and the platform is web-only. It suits organizations that want straightforward SMS and email notifications around existing calendars, especially when recurring appointments and message templates matter. Businesses seeking broader workflow automation or a richer platform ecosystem should consider an alternative.
