Slim SEO is a WordPress SEO plugin for beginners, site owners, professional users, and agencies managing self-hosted WordPress websites. Its free plugin automates meta titles and descriptions, XML sitemaps, robots controls, Open Graph metadata, and basic schema markup. The broader feature set includes internal and external link reports, broken-link monitoring and repair, Google Search Console performance and keyword reports, a writing assistant, and AI-generated SEO meta titles and descriptions.

The free plan provides the core optimization features, while Slim SEO Pro adds the visual schema builder, more than 30 pre-built schema types, custom schema with JSON-LD, Google Search Console integration, and the writing assistant. The Personal plan costs $59 per year, Freelancer costs $119 per year, and Agency costs $179 per year. The listed highlights are the same across these three plans. Slim SEO Free and Slim SEO Pro are separate plugins, and Agency usage excludes enterprises, hosting providers, SaaS companies, and similar uses unless separately arranged.

Slim SEO fits WordPress sites that want automated metadata and structured-data controls without adopting a broad SEO research suite. Its ecosystem includes Elementor, WooCommerce, WPML, Polylang, TranslatePress, ACF, Meta Box, Jetpack, WPForms, and Genesis. The tradeoff is a narrow scope: keyword research, site audits, backlink analysis, competitor research, and API access are not part of the product. Choose Slim SEO for focused on-site WordPress optimization, schema, link maintenance, and Search Console reporting; choose another SEO tool if research, auditing, backlink, competitor, or API workflows are central requirements.
