Sip:phone review
A focused iOS and Android softphone for operators and enterprises on Sipwise systems.

Sip:phone is a mobile Unified Communication Client from Sipwise GmbH for operators and enterprises using Sipwise C5 or NGCP platforms. Available on iOS and Android, it extends business telephony to mobile devices with audio and video calling, SIP communication with encrypted calls, presence, company contact synchronization, and configurable ringing policies. It is designed for deployments where a communications provider or enterprise controls the underlying Sipwise environment rather than for general-purpose use with arbitrary SIP providers.
Its main strength is the breadth of mobile calling controls in a focused client. Users can place calls on hold, use DTMF controls, manage two simultaneous calls, transfer calls blindly or with consultation, and start three-way conferences. Presence and favorites support day-to-day availability workflows, while push notifications help deliver incoming call alerts. Login can use a QR code or username and password. For operators, white-label branding allows the app to carry a customized identity instead of presenting as a generic third-party softphone.
Platform fit is central to the buying decision. Sip:phone integrates with Sipwise C5, Sipwise NGCP, Sipwise CPBX, and the REST API, and provisioning is handled through Sipwise platform interfaces. The product is separately licensed, with deployment guidance and pricing handled through sales. It suits organizations that already run Sipwise systems and need a branded mobile extension for voice and video communications. Organizations seeking a desktop client, browser-based coverage, or compatibility with unrelated SIP providers should choose a broader softphone option instead.
