Simple Booth HALO is an iPad-based photo booth platform for event rental companies, DJs, photographers, venues, marketers, agencies, brands, and other organizations. It supports still photos, GIFs, live GIFs, rebound clips, and full-length videos up to 120 seconds. Operators can add layouts, themes, props, logos, overlays, digital sharing, printing, online galleries, live-feed displays, analytics, surveys, and lead capture. The web dashboard manages events, presets, galleries, analytics, and devices, while the product also provides API access.
Published plans show Lite at $15 per week through the App Store for personal-use photo booth use. Core is listed at $24 per week, $49 per month, or $490 per year, adding unlimited photos and videos, Layout Designer, DSLR and mirrorless camera support, AI effects and backgrounds, digital delivery, and prints. Plus costs $49 per week, $99 per month, or $990 per year, with custom branding, promotional marketing tools, AI Effect Studio, stickers, custom props, analytics, and reporting. Pro is $149 per month and adds data capture, survey forms, custom SMS, WhatsApp, and email messages, dynamic AI input forms, API access, Mailchimp integration, international SMS, and phone support. A 7-day free trial is available.
HALO’s strongest fit is for operators who want varied capture modes and delivery options in an iPad-centered workflow. Sharing covers SMS, email, QR code, AirDrop, and WhatsApp, while AirPrint, print-server support, and an offline upload queue with automatic retry support event operations. Integrations include Mailchimp, Dropbox, and AirPrint. The product suits teams that need branding, galleries, reporting, or lead collection alongside photo capture. Operators seeking a broader device ecosystem than iOS, web, and API access should assess the platform fit carefully, while personal users may prefer the narrower Lite plan.
