Sign Wizard Pro 7 is desktop signmaking software for shops producing vinyl, screen-printed, neon, LED, wide-format printed, routed, and engraved signage. Its toolset covers lettering, vector and bitmap design, color vectorizing, contour-cut paths, vinyl plotting, weeding, print-and-cut, and large-format color printing. It is best suited to professional sign shops handling varied, demanding, or high-volume jobs, particularly those producing vehicle graphics and cut-vinyl work.
The licensing structure is based on one-time purchases. The Designer License costs $700, while Sign Wizard Pro 7 — New License costs $1,995. Multisite licensing costs $997.50, and the Crossgrade costs $1,496.25. Optional Neon Wizard packages raise the Designer License to $850 with Neon Wizard Plus or $950 with Neon Wizard Pro. For multisite use, the corresponding Neon Wizard packages cost $1,245 and $1,345. These tiers make the product suitable for buyers who need a permanent desktop license and can match the edition to their shop setup, but the upfront cost is significant for smaller operations.
Its strongest case is production depth rather than a narrow design workflow. Advanced lettering includes paragraph text, word wrap, frames, auto-weld, text on a path, and text on an arc. Color vectorizing converts color graphics into vectors, while bitmap editing adds clipping paths, photomasks, transparency, feathering, and gradient blending. Dynamic contour-cut paths, Easy Weed, Weed Line Eraser, USB cutter support for Summagraphics and Graphtec, and vector and bitmap import/export extend the workflow from design to output. Windows is the primary environment; the software can function on Intel Macs through VMware Fusion or Parallels. Choose it for advanced sign production, and consider a simpler alternative if the shop does not need this breadth or prefers lower upfront pricing.
