ShowBook HQ is a web-based production management platform for events, broadcast, film, festivals, and tours. It brings schedules, crew rosters, contact management, daily checklists, call-time alerts, calendar feeds, broadcasts, and exports into one browser-based workspace. Its audience is production teams that need to coordinate crews and communicate schedule changes without requiring crew members to install an app. Role-based permissions support owners, admins, managers, and crew.
The freemium structure gives small productions a practical starting point. The Free plan supports one active single-day event, up to three crew members, one planner seat, schedules, rosters, contact requests, and call-time change alerts. Pro costs $99 per month and expands usage to five active events, 20 crew per show, two planner seats, checklists, broadcasts, exports, and bulk crew upload. Company costs $299 per month and adds up to 20 active events, 200 crew per show, 10 planner seats, department calendar feeds, and priority support. Enterprise provides unlimited events, crew, and seats, plus an SLA, DPA, custom terms, and dedicated onboarding.
For communications and scheduling, ShowBook HQ covers day, week, month, and agenda views; searchable department-based crew records; email alerts; department checklists with completion records; crew broadcasts; and roster or schedule exports. Calendar connections include Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook through calendar feeds. That makes it a fit for teams centered on crew coordination and production updates. It is a narrower choice for productions that require verified breakdowns, call sheets, or budgeting. The product is web-only, and its published Enterprise roadmap includes SSO, security review, and audit log capabilities. Teams wanting those production-planning functions or mobile apps should consider an alternative.
