ShopSite is server-based ecommerce software for small and medium-sized businesses that want to create and manage online stores. Browser-based administration covers catalogs, orders, payments, inventory, SEO tools, XML sitemaps, digital downloads, and shopping-cart buttons for existing websites. It suits merchants who prefer self-hosted stores, including businesses adding commerce to an established website or WordPress installation. Support for multichannel selling and payment-only transaction fees also fits merchants seeking control over their store setup.

The product uses a freemium model. Express includes a free store, order buttons, a WordPress plugin, mobile-friendly checkout, and Secure/PCI certified checkout. Starter adds SEO-friendly and mobile-friendly pages, 50+ themes, and 25+ payment methods. Manager adds unlimited products and pages, store search, real-time shipping rates, and database upload/download; a Manager license is also offered with an unlimited term for $495 one-time. Pro adds coupons, quantity pricing, cross-selling, product reviews, gift certificates, and abandoned-cart emails; its advanced ecommerce package is $1,295 one-time. Enterprise supports MySQL or MariaDB, subscription background services, order import, and abandoned-cart emails. A 14-day free trial is available.

ShopSite connects with WordPress, Constant Contact, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Google Analytics, UPS, FedEx, USPS, and QuickBooks, while APIs support third-party add-ons. Its shipping, promotions, rewards, inventory, recovery, and digital-product features give it a wide functional range for a self-hosted platform. Merchants should choose it when they value server-based control and established ecommerce administration. It is less suitable for teams seeking built-in AI features or a fully managed store service without server or hosting considerations.
