Shop-Script combines an ecommerce storefront and CMS with tools for catalog, order, and inventory management. It is aimed at merchants who need to coordinate sales across online stores, marketplaces, messengers, and offline channels, including businesses selling digital products. Stores can run in Webasyst cloud or on a customer’s own server, and mobile apps support store operations. Its open-source code is available for development, while commercial use requires a license or cloud plan.

The product’s operational scope is a strong fit for merchants managing more than a single storefront. Catalog tools cover SKUs, variations, attributes, and filters; inventory features include transfers and multiple warehouses. Orders can be handled across the storefront, marketplaces, messengers, and offline sales. Integrations include Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex Market, 1C, MySklad, Telegram, MAX, and VK, with marketplace connections available through plugins. Payment and delivery integrations, abandoned-cart messages, and REST and headless APIs round out the channel and systems options. Merchants seeking a simpler, single-channel setup may not need this breadth.

The published plans include a Free option with basic Shop-Script, up to 250 products, and one employee. Kiosk adds premium features and a domain with 12-month payment; Store adds a domain, 1C integration, and analytics; Full platform bundles Shop-Script with all Webasyst features and marketplace plugins. Separate Base and Premium licenses are available for an own server or a Webasyst cloud plan where the app is not included; a Premium perpetual license is also listed. Developers can download the code and access it on GitHub, but commercial projects require a license. Shop-Script suits merchants prepared to evaluate deployment and license options; those wanting a straightforward, clearly consolidated plan structure may prefer a narrower alternative.

Shop-Script pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Manages catalog, orders, and inventory across multiple warehouses
    • Supports marketplaces, messengers, offline sales, and digital products
    • Offers cloud and self-hosted deployment with REST and headless APIs
  • Where it doesn't
    • Free plan is limited to 250 products and one employee
    • Commercial projects using downloaded code require a license
    • Cloud plans and separate self-hosted licenses make plan selection less simple
