Shade3D is a desktop 3D graphics suite for designers, illustrators, architects, and other creators who need modeling, rendering, animation, or 3D printing in one application. Its modeling toolkit covers curved surfaces, polygons, and NURBS, while animation features include keyframes, character rigging, inverse kinematics, physics effects, and motion-capture import. The product supports Windows and macOS, including Apple silicon in newer versions.

Pricing is organized into Basic, Standard, and Professional editions. Basic costs $198 per year for the first year and $99 per year from year 2. Standard costs $480 for the first year and $240 per year from year 2. Professional costs $980 for the first year and $392 per year from year 2. Professional is also available as a $343 one-month rental or a $450.80 two-month rental. A 30-day trial provides a way to evaluate the software before choosing a paid edition. The published plans show annual subscriptions across the main editions, with Professional offering the stated professional modeling and rendering capabilities.

Shade3D’s main appeal is breadth within a traditional desktop workflow. It offers ray tracing, path tracing, toon rendering, global illumination, animation preview, movie export with sound, 3D file import and export, and 3D printing workflows. Unity, PoserFusion, ShadeGrid, and 3Dconnexion 3D mouse integrations extend its fit for connected production setups. Choose Shade3D if you want modeling, animation, physics, and mocap in one desktop package. Choose an alternative if you need a free plan or support beyond Windows and macOS.
