Sesh is a browser-based digital audio workstation for music producers and collaborators who want to create together in real time. Sessions support shared cursors, live changes, audio recording, collaborative piano roll editing, built-in synthesizers and effects, and in-session chat. Project owners can assign owner, editor, or viewer permissions, while shared links support listening or collaboration. Sesh runs on the web, Windows, macOS, and Linux, and does not require downloads or plugins for browser-based work.

Pricing is straightforward across its two plan names. Starter is free forever and includes synths, audio effects, high-quality samples, one-hour version history, and limited projects and exports for non-commercial use. Pro adds unlimited public and private projects, exports, collaborators, file storage, and version history at $5 per month with annual billing. The monthly Pro option is $8 per month and includes unlimited projects and collaborations, real-time multiplayer sync, unlimited storage, the full sound library, all instruments and effects, and WAV export. This makes the annual plan particularly suitable for ongoing collaborative work, while Starter fits initial exploration and non-commercial projects.

Sesh’s strongest fit is a distributed music team, producer, or beat maker that values shared browser sessions, built-in sounds, and recoverable project history over a traditional desktop workflow. Automatic cloud saving and version restoration reduce the risk of losing earlier work, and unlimited collaborators avoid per-seat constraints on Pro. The narrower ecosystem may matter to producers who need direct connections to an existing desktop DAW: Sesh has no DAW integrations. Choose it for contained, browser-first sessions and accessible collaboration; consider another tool if integration with an established DAW is central to the workflow.
