SEOwl is a web-based rank tracking and monitoring platform for solo users, freelancers, agencies, and teams managing multiple websites. It tracks Google keyword positions on desktop and mobile, with local and global monitoring, competitor tracking, daily updates, and on-demand checks. Historical keyword and SERP comparisons, HTML SERP views, keyword groups, tags, notes, smart views, alerts, automated reports, and whitelabel reports give it a broad set of tools for ongoing SEO visibility work.

Pricing makes SEOwl accessible for smaller tracking needs. The Free plan is listed at $0 per month and includes rank tracking, SERP view and SERP diff, a report designer, unlimited additional users, and whitelabeling. Personal costs $25 per month when billed monthly, while Freelancer costs $69 and Agency costs $139. Annual billing shows monthly-equivalent prices of $20.8, $54.2, and $115.8 for those three paid tiers, respectively; annual billing provides 12 months for the price of 10. A 7-day free trial is also available. The published plan highlights are the same across the listed tiers, so buyers should compare the account or tracking capacity they require before upgrading.

SEOwl fits workflows that need more than a basic position list. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, DomDetailer, Slack, and Zapier integrations support reporting and notifications, while the RESTful API offers another route for connecting rank data to other systems. The main limitation is its narrow search-engine coverage: tracking is centered on Google. Choose SEOwl if free daily Google tracking, mobile and local visibility, competitor monitoring, and client-ready reporting are priorities. An alternative may suit teams that need multiple search engines or a different platform focus.
