Schoop is a school communication platform for schools and nurseries that need one channel for alerts, newsletters, events, forms, surveys and educational content. Staff can share rich content with images, video and documents, publish interactive calendars, send push notifications and scheduled alerts, and create private groups or individual messages. Families can use the iOS or Android app, the web platform, or email subscriptions if they do not have smartphones. Automatic translation into 41 languages and text-to-speech support make it suited to schools serving multilingual communities.

Pricing is structured around a free plan, a 30-day free trial, and annual paid plans. Education & Nursery costs £4.95 per student or child per year, while Not for Profit costs £4.95 per person per year. The Businesses plan has a £995 minimum annual price. Each paid plan includes all features, plus free online training and support. Prices exclude VAT, and organizational plans have a minimum annual charge based on three-year contracts. Schools comparing costs should therefore distinguish the per-student Education & Nursery plan from the Businesses minimum.

The platform’s standout strength is the breadth of family-facing communication tools in a single service: newsletters, forms with response tables and charts, reminders, private groups, translation and email access. Its listed integrations are websites and calendars, and the category specification does not include two-way messaging. Schools that want low-cost multilingual updates, accessible content and structured feedback should find the feature mix relevant. Organizations that require two-way messaging or broader system connectivity should consider a platform with those capabilities.
