A finance-focused education ERP for schools that need controlled, connected accounting workflows.

School Console is a cloud school and college ERP for K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and coaching institutes. Its accounting scope covers double-entry general ledger work, chart of accounts, vouchers, ledger entries, fee collection, payroll, procurement, and related education operations. The platform also includes admissions, attendance, examinations, learning management, transport, hostel operations, communication, reporting, and mobile access. It is suited to institutions that want finance connected to broader administrative workflows rather than a standalone accounting tool.
The accounting controls are the central strength. Maker-checker workflows move vouchers through draft, submission, approval, and posting stages, while period-close controls preserve frozen trial balance, balance sheet, and P&L snapshots. Users can reconcile banks against ledger entries and view live trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, cash book, bank book, and day book reports. Budget-versus-actual tracking by cost centre adds variance reporting for financial oversight. Automatic postings from fee, payroll, procurement, hostel, transport, and library modules can reduce the need to duplicate transactions across systems.
School Console also fits institutions with structured purchasing and local tax workflows. Procurement covers requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, goods receipts, three-way matching, and an asset register. GST and TDS master data support e-invoice and TDS-challan processes. Payment integrations include Razorpay, PayU, CCAvenue, HDFC SmartHub, Paytm, and PhonePe, while device integrations include eSSL, Realtime, ZKTeco, Matrix, Suprema, HID Global, Teltonika, Jimi (Concox), and Queclink. Access spans web, iOS, Android, and API. Subscriptions are annual per school, payable yearly or quarterly, with a separate one-time implementation fee. Institutions seeking detailed controls and connected modules should consider it; those prioritising self-serve evaluation or simpler standalone accounting should look elsewhere.
