Sandglaz was a collaborative task and project management product aimed at small teams that wanted a straightforward way to organize shared work. It combined planning grids, milestones, Kanban-style views, assignments, hashtags, subtasks, notes, comments, file attachments, due dates, email reminders, recurring tasks, and completed-task history. Scrum support, backlog management, and sprint planning are included in its category capabilities. Access was available through the web, iOS, and Android, making it suitable for teams coordinating tasks across different devices.

The published paid plan was priced at $5 per user per month with monthly billing. It included unlimited projects, unlimited tasks, real-time synchronization, and customer support. A 21-day free trial was available, but there was no free plan. For a small team, the simple pricing structure and unlimited project and task allowances could make budgeting easy. The trade-off is that the product’s paid-only model requires a subscription after the trial, even for teams that need only basic planning.

Sandglaz’s strongest fit was collaborative planning rather than advanced agile reporting or a broad software ecosystem. Flexible grids and Kanban-style visualization supported different ways of organizing work, while tags, assignments, milestones, and reminders helped teams keep ownership and deadlines visible. It also included scrum-related capabilities, but verified agile reporting and integrations were not part of the offering described here. Sandglaz is discontinued, so teams seeking an active product should choose an available alternative instead; its historical feature set remains most relevant for understanding its original positioning.
